Andy Walch, born in 1988 in Feldkirch (Austria), is passionate about the world of cocktails and beverage industry since his youngest age. 


After finishing the tourism school in Bludenz (Austria), he started to earn his first experience in different hotels in Austria, before starting to work in 5* hotel bars in Switzerland.


After that, he has gained bartending experience in a 5* hotel bar in London. He went back to Switzerland in 2013 and worked as Chef de Bar in the Schweizerhof Hotel in Bern. 


He has successfully achieved the first place in various competitions such as at the World Cocktail Championship "Before-Dinner" 2015, Swiss Cocktail Championship 2013 and 2014, Swiss Bacardi Legacy 2011, Diageo World Class GSA 2012, Finlandia Switzerland 2012, Bols Around the World Switzerland 2012, Barkeeper of the Year 2013. 


Andy Walch works now as Brand Ambassador for the Reserve products of DIAGEO.
